Ernest's Orleans Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge

One of the best restaurants in Shreveport! Incredible food! (Worth the cost!) Incredible service! Ernest is a phenomenal cook and very warm host! This is old school hospitality at it's best!

Not worth the prices paid. Go somewhere else.

This place looks nice when you walk in. Then you realize how crowded it is once you sit down. Took us 30 minutes to get a drink menu. 30 more to get our drinks and food menus. Another 45 to get appetizers. I'm currently sitting here 2 hours and 21 minutes after me and my wife sat down and was notified they just put the entree order in. How ridiculous. I'm never one to care about the price of food when it tastes good but the food is just typical restaurant food just in tiny portions. Fine dining? I'd rather have bar food. The oysters came with garlic bread that was basically a butter sponge. Super greasy. 2 peices of fried shrimp for 12 dollars. Its fried shrimp c'mon man. Nothing here has been good. We will see if the entree will help my experience but I don't think it will get to my table until tomorrow night at this pace. Waste of money and time.
